The single-phase and three-phase systems differ based on the voltage they operate with:

Single-phase system: the voltage between phase and neutral is 230V
Three-phase system: the voltage is 400V between two phases and 230V between phase and neutral.
Three-phase | single-phase UPS systems are connected to a three-phase (400V) electrical grid and provide a 230V single-phase output to connected loads.

The IST9 series (10–20kVA) is a 19″ rack-mounted three-phase online UPS by AEC, compact (only 3U), featuring 3-level IGBT technology, up to 97% efficiency, and a unity power factor. Configurable as 1|1, 3|1, or 3|3 from the display, it includes a distribution module and manual bypass.

The IST7 three-phase UPS systems (10–40kVA) by AEC are double-conversion online devices with 3-level IGBT technology. They offer up to 97% efficiency and a unity power factor. Available in tower format, they cover power ratings from 10 to 40kVA.

AEC’s IST9 rack 19″ UPS systems (10–20 kVA) are compact online three-phase units (only 3U) with up to 97% efficiency and a unity power factor. Configurable as 1|1, 3|1, or 3|3 via display, they include a distribution module and manual bypass switch.
