What data we process and why

Contact form requests. Name, company, email, phone, message, the page you write from, date and IP address. We use them to answer your request and, where needed, to prepare a quotation. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures requested by you and our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The IP address is also used to protect the form from spam (legitimate interest).

Browsing. To deliver the pages, Amazon CloudFront servers receive your IP address, the requested page and your browser. The website keeps no logs of them.

Statistics and third-party content. Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, YouTube videos and Google Maps are only enabled with your consent: see the Cookie policy.

How long we keep it

  • Contact form requests: 24 months from submission, unless a business relationship follows.
  • Submissions discarded as spam: 90 days.
  • Logs of the contact form function: 90 days. The website keeps no visit logs.

Who receives it

Data is processed by our authorised staff and by providers acting as processors: Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL (website hosting, contact form and email delivery; data stored in the European Union), our mailbox provider, Google Ireland Ltd (Google Tag Manager, loaded on every page without cookies; analytics, videos and maps only with your consent) and, only with your consent, Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd. We do not sell or disclose data to third parties for their own purposes.

Transfers outside the EU

Some providers may process data outside the European Union; in that case the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing (Articles 15–22 GDPR) by writing to info@aecups.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or with the authority of your country.
